MyCrystal uses privacy-conscious product analytics to understand which features are useful. Analytics never includes your saved URLs, note text, email address, Telegram identity, or wiki-link concepts.

Is MyCrystal a read-later app?
You can save something before you have time to read it, but MyCrystal does not treat your vault as a queue. There are no unread counts or completion pressure. A saved source remains part of your private library, ready to revisit as new notes and connections accumulate.
Does MyCrystal summarize what I save?
Not by default. MyCrystal preserves the readable source and uses AI to identify useful concepts and add wiki links. Open a wiki link to bring notes that share the concept into view; backlinks show which notes connect to the one you are reading. AI reveals paths through your vault, while reading, interpretation, and synthesis remain yours.
What can I save?
The current release supports public X posts and public webpages. Restricted pages, paywalled material, and sources that require a private sign-in may not be capturable.
How do I send something to MyCrystal?
Connect the MyCrystal Telegram bot and send it one public link, or email one public link to the capture address from the verified email you use to sign in.
Is my vault public?
No. Your vault and saved notes are private application pages tied to your account. They are not published or exposed to search engines.
Can I take my notes elsewhere?
Yes. Download an individual note as Markdown or export the complete vault as a ZIP. The Markdown preserves wiki-link syntax for ordinary editors and tools such as Obsidian.
Does MyCrystal replace Obsidian?
Not necessarily. MyCrystal focuses on capturing and digesting deliberately selected online information. Its portable Markdown can complement an existing local knowledge workflow.
Is the current version free?
Yes. The current free plan includes up to 60 captured links per month while MyCrystal is in its early release.
